Moving your data to Elevator Matrix from your old software or Excel
Nothing needs to be typed in again. You upload the files you already have and the app creates customers, elevators, contracts and history. The owner runs the import inside the app (Settings → Move from another program) — no IT technician needed.
Supported files
- Excel .xls (97-2003, the format most older programs export), .xlsx and .csv (UTF-8 or Windows-1253).
- Several files at once: the app recognises what each file contains from its headers.
- Columns with Greek or English headers are mapped automatically; anything not recognised is mapped with one tap.

Safe by design
- Repeatable: every record keeps the old program's code, so a second import updates instead of duplicating.
- Undoable: the whole import is recorded as one action in the change history and can be undone with one tap.
- After-import tools: merge duplicate elevators, fill in VAT details from the Greek tax registry, list elevators missing a registry number.
How fast
